Dyeing Production Responsibility

Responsibility of a Production Officer:

1. In the Back Process:

A production officer should enter the mill before 15 minutes of the shift starting for taking over the shift. He needs to look at and assure the following things:
1. Stock of Mixing and Stock of Lack
2. Availability of Stock for the next shift
3. Humidity and Temperature
4. Doffer speed of Carding to face the shortage of feed material of the next process
5. Carding and Simplex should be in running condition always to ensure the feed material of next process
6. Stock of Sliver and Roving of all Counts. If necessary amount of Sliver and Roving is not found to continue the running shift, it is reported in the report book.

2. In the Ring Section:

Production Officer should enter the Mill before 15 minutes of the shift start. He needs to check the following before taking over the shift:
1. Machine Parts broken or not.
2. Missing of anything like Creel, Cot-Roller etc.
3. Material in the extra Creel.
4. Presence of Belt in the Gear.
5. Proper suction in the Pneumafill Line.
6. Yarn of Cop cut or not.
7. Whether Spindle is in the center of Ring or not.
8. Whether normal pressure is maintained on Spindle during Doffing or not.
9. Wood Cleaner Roller is cleaned or not.
10. Whether proper humidity is maintained or not.

3. Responsibility of a Production Officer in Finishing Section:


A Production Officer of Finishing Section should be careful so that following faults does not take place at the time of shift taking over.
1. Machine Break.
2. Material Mixing.
3. Brush unclean.
4. Entanglement of Yarn of Bobbin.
5. Cut Yarn in Bobbin.
6. Excess of hard wastage.
7. Bobbin mixing & Lot mixing.
8. Waste product.
9. Huge quantity of pneumafil of earlier shift.
10. Defective production.
11. Unsuitable under Duct.
12. Improper Humidity.
